Στο παρόν αυτό θέμα θα συγκεντρώνουμε και θα σχολιάζουμε φήμες περί νέων συσκευών S60 5th Edition, πριν την επίσημη ανακοίνωση τους από τη Nokia.

About half a year ago all the bloggers reported about an upcoming S60 touchscreen-phone by Nokia. It was rumoured to be a mid-class device, making the touchscreen technology available to the lower price-segment. The codename of this device was “Tube”. Since a few days this rumour has turned into reality with the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. Back in the time when there were the first rumours about the 5800, there were also rumours that after the 5800 there will be a high-class Nokia Nseries touchscreen flagship.

 

 

Yesterday there was a Nokia event held in New Delhi. At this event Nokia officially confirmed that there is a Nseries touchscreen-phone in the works! The announcement of this device will be before the end of this year and the device is expected to hit the markets in early 2009.

 

“We will have lots of touchscreen phones coming up, including an N-Series device very soon.”

- Devinder Kishore, director of marketing, Nokia India.

This is definitely not shocking news for freaks like us, but it seemed that Nokia managed to surprise a few bloggers with official confirmation that they are working on a touchscreen Nseries phone.

 

As a matter of fact, about a half year ago I told you that Nokia 5800 is typical mid range phone and that flag ship touch model is supposed to hit markets shortly after.

 

Yesterday, at the recent Nokia event held in New Delhi, it is officially confirmed and the only surprising part is that it maybe coming a little bit sooner than expected!

 

Way back in July, Nokia confirmed my predications that its first touch-screen phone will fall into mid-range segment and additionally, they are expecting to announce several more smartphone, some of which will hit the market before the end of the year.

 

"Currently, the market for touchscreen products is a nice market. We always aim for a situation where we can cover all the segments with all the options," said Senior Vice President of Nokia Markets Anssi Vanjoki.

 

Anyway, cellpassion blog today reports that Finnish mobile phone giant is currently prepping the flagship NSeries touchscreen device and is expected to make an announcement soon. "We will have lot of touchscreen phones coming up, including an N-series device very soon," said Devinder Kishore, director marketing, Nokia India at an event in New Delhi.

 

While he refused to divulge the announcement date, it can be expected before the end of this year with the device hitting the markets in early 2009. yes you read it right, it seems that we'll get touch flagship sooner than expected and it is supposed to be announced before the end of the year and to hit the market early 2009!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

N83 γράφει η πρώτη συσκευή πάνω ή κάνουν πουλάκια τα μάτια μου;

Κι είναι slide; Αν ναι, οθόνη αφής και πληκτρολόγιο, καλός συνδυασμός. Δείχνει κι εμφανίσιμο και σχετικά μικρό.

Παντως τα παραπανω δεν μου φαινονται για συσκευες της ΝΟΚΙΑ.

Μαλλον custom ειναι..ε?

 

Αλλα για τα σχεδια που εχει για την σειρα Ν ισχυει κ πιστευω οτι βιαζεται, λογω ανταγωνισμού (ολες οι εταιριες εχουν touchscreen πια), χωρις αυτο να σημαινει οτι θα δουμε beta αποτελεσμα.

Ειναι ολα ετοιμα κ ώριμα!

Έτσι πιστέυω και γω. Όταν οι έχοντες πληροφορίες, μιλούσαν για το 5800 και διέρευσαν τα κύρια χαρακτηριστικά του, έπεσαν 100% μέσα. Οι ίδιοι κάνουν λόγο για ένα N series με πολύ δυνατά χαρακτηριστικά που θα παρουσιαστεί πολύ σύντομα και άλλες, μάλλον 4, touch συσκευές, εκ των οποίων άλλη μία θα είναι XpressMusic και, δεν αποκλείεται να τιμολογηθεί ακόμα πιο φθηνά απο το 5800.

 

Απο την στιγμή που τα έχουν έτοιμα, αποφασίζουν πότε θα διαθέσουν το κάθε ένα στην αγορά.

 

Θέλω να δω αν το νέο non touch Ν series με 8MP, που θα ανακοινώσει σύντομα, θα είναι Symbian 9.3 ή 9.5.

Αν υποθέσουμε ό,τι η φωτογραφία του Ν83 ισχυεί σημαίνει ό,τι πάλι θα δούμε το σχέδιο των Ν81, Ν78, Ν96 σε κάποιο touch creen κινητό οτης σειράς Ν?? Δεν βαρέθηκε η nokia αυτό το σχέδιο και αυτά τα υλικά??:blink:

Το συγκεκριμένο μου φέρνει στο μυαλό ένα Ν96 χωρίς πλήκτρα. Ακόμα και ο σχεδιασμός στα πλαινά είναι ίδιος με του Ν96. Δεν είναι άσχημο. Να δούμε τι παραπάνω θα έχει απο το 5800.

 

Έτσι όπως το βλέπω, η οθόνη του δεν είναι 16:9. Άρα δεν αποκλείεται να δούμε και VGA ανάλυση.

Μπορεί να είναι ωραίο Γιώργο αλλά γίνεται βαρετό όλο αυτό το design!! Έχω βαρεθεί να το βλέπω.

Για χαρακτηριστικά και οθόνη δεν μπορω να ξέρω, όλα αυτά θα τα μάθουμε με τον καιρό.

Ωραιο θα ηταν να εβγαζε ενα με μεταλλικα μερη..

Θυμαμαι το Ε50 που ειχα και την φοβερη αντοχη του..

Ωραίο θα ήταν και με τις μεταλλικές επιφάνιες όπως των Ε66/71. Πολύ ποιοτικό και όμορφο.

Μπορεί να ακουστούν οι "προσευχές" μας και να βγάλει κάτι τέτοιο.:lol::p

Δεν μου φαίνονται και τόσο "αληθινές" οι φωτογραφίες. Βέβαια μακάρι να δούμε κάτι τέτοιο. Το δεύτερο μου αρέσει περισσότερο

Το δεύτερο είναι καταπληκτικό σχεδιαστικά αλλά δε νομίζω να είναι κάτι περισσότερο απο consept.

 

Σίγουρα στο μέλλον θα δούμε πολλές διαφορετικές προτάσεις και ίσως κάποια απο αυτές, πλησιάζει σχεδιαστικά αυτό που βλέπουμε στην δεύτερη φωτο.

Concepts είναι παιδιά καμία σχέση με το επερχόμενο τηλέφωνο.

Έρχονται πολλά τηλέφωνα με Touch οθόνες από την μαμά Nokia.

Αν και ανυπομονώ πραγματικά να δω το 5800 από κοντά όποτε έρθει, αυτό που πιστεύω ότι πραγματικά θα αποτελέσει σταθμό για την βιομηχανία της κινητής τηλεφωνίας το επόμενο διάστημα θα είναι κάποιο flagship μοντέλο της Nokia με οθόνη αφής, πιθανότατα κάποιο Nseries.

 

Αυτό που θα είναι ενδιαφέρον να δούμε είναι αν η Nokia θα καταλήξει σε κάποια συγκεκριμένη ανάλυση οθόνης, ή αν αντίθετα θα υπάρχουν διάφορες αναλύσεις, ανάλογα με την κατηγορία της συσκευής. Καλό θα ήταν να δούμε επιτέλους VGA αλλά κατ' εμέ θα ήταν πολύ πιο εύχρηστη η υιοθέτηση κάποιας ανάλυσης ευρείας οθόνης, όπως αυτή του 5800.

Η ανάλυση που έχει χρησιμοποιηθεί στο Ν810 είναι οτι καλύτερο αυτή την στιγμή. 800x480 pixels. Χάρμα οφθαλμού το άτιμο.

 

Αλλά μάλλον την οθόνη αυτή θα την δούμε μόνο στο επόμενο touch communicator.

Η ανάλυση που έχει χρησιμοποιηθεί στο Ν810 είναι οτι καλύτερο αυτή την στιγμή. 800x480 pixels. Χάρμα οφθαλμού το άτιμο.

Ναι αλλά αυτά δεν είναι series 60 5th edition εκτός αν μου διαφεύγει κάτι. :worry:

 

Δεν μιλάω για ανταγωνισμό, μιλάω για τις λύσεις που έχει έτοιμες ή που ετοιμάζει η Nokia.

Nokia’s first Nseries touchscreen handset to come very soon. N97?

 

 

Everyone has kind of expected this, but it’s surely good to hear an official confirmation: Nokia will soon come up with an Nseries touchscreen smartphone.

 

The name of the first Nseries smartphone to come with a touchscreen display is not known for the moment, but it could very well be Nokia N97. A logical successor to N95 and N96.

 

Almost certainly, the touchscreen Nseries device will run on the new Symbian S60 5th Edition OS, announced by Nokia at the same time with the 5800 XpressMusic.

 

Since there is no word yet on how the first touchscreen Nseries looks like, I’ve combined the N96 with the interface of 5800, for a possible preview on the future smartphone:

Well, regardless of its design, the touchscreen Nseries will probably bring extra features when compared to the 5800 XpressMusic, which is just a mid-end smartphone. Perhaps an 8 MP camera will come with this baby, but let’s better wait for the Finns to say more about it themselves.

Όμως τίποτα δεν είναι σίγουρο ακόμα ούτε για τον σχεδιασμό του αλλά ούτε και για τα τεχνικά της χαρακτηριστικά.

Και δεν ξέρουμε καν, αν όντως αυτή η φωτογραφία στέκει έστω σαν πρωτότυπο ή είναι απλά ένα σχέδιο στο photoshop, όπως και η φώτο στο ποστ #19. Είναι ακόμα πολύ νωρίς για να ξέρουμε το πως θα είναι το νέο touch screen κινητό της σειράς Ν.

Πιστεύω ότι θα κάνει καλή αρχή στη νέα πλατφόρμα με το 5800 XpressMusic. Ελπίζω μόνο στη νέα της απόπειρα η Nokia να σκεφτεί ανάμεσα στις συσκευές Touch S60 που θα παρουσιάσει να υπάρχουν και ορισμένες με συρόμενο QWERTY πληκτρολόγιο, όπως συμβαίνει στην πλατφόρμα Windows Mobile (βλέπε HTC Touch Pro, Sony-Ericsson Xperia κλπ). Έτσι θα μπορέσει να καλύψει και αυτούς που προτιμούν πλήρη hardware πληκτρολόγια για ευκολία στις εφαρμογές που το απαιτούν, π.χ. σύνταξη e-mails, sms, chatting κλπ. ;)

Τό'χε δηλώσει και παλιότερα κάποιος παράγοντας της εταιρίας οτι αφού παρουσιαστεί το series 60 5th edition, Θα κυκλοφορήσουν series 60 συσκευές που θα έχουν μόνο οθόνη αφής, οθόνη αφής και αλφαριθμητικό πληκτρολόγιο αλλά και συσκευές με οθόνη αφής και qwerty πληκτρολόγιο.

 

Και πιστεύω οτι θα δούμε αρκετές συσκευές της τελευταίας κατηγορίας και όχι μόνο τα E series τύπου Ε90 και Ε61/Ε71 που είχαμε μέχρι σήμερα. Ένα concept σαν το Ε75 θα ήταν πολύ ενδιαφέρον αν ενσωμάτωνε symbian 9.5.
